Odds and Ends

Yep, it's been a while since I whined about the faucet fiasco.  It has since been resolved and it is so nice to have running water in the kitchen again.  No more filling containers from the "well" in the bathroom.  Thank you all for the words of encouragement!

It's that time of year when everyone starts holding garage/yard sales.  More estate sales too!  That means I have to replenish the inventory.  Believe it or not, my Vintage Halloween Bootique sale is only a few months away.   I have been shopping for all those odd and unusual things that, hopefully, make my creations a little special and unique!

The hunt is only part of the fun.  After I get home and unpack all the goodies, I get to enjoy each little piece and decide how it will be used.  Kind of like unpacking your trick or treat bag and sorting all the candy:  lollipops, chocolate, licorice, and so on.

Elf Patty and I are already busy in the workroom.  There are signs of glittery bats and spiders, unique "facinators" to perch at a jaunty angle atop your head - even banners and garlands to "spook-out" your home.  Lots of surprises!  You know that instead of creepy and gory, I like whimsy and surprise.  So if that is your cup of tea ...MARK YOUR CALENDAR for
