It's Almost Here ...

My Vintage Halloween BOOOtique is THIS SATURDAY, October 2nd !!!  Elf Patty and I have been really cranking out wonderful, unusual Halloween creations.  Lots of them ... all kinds of stuff ... something for everyone.  I'm not kidding.

I've been making everyone wait to see what we've been making and I think the anticipation is mounting to huge proportions.  I normally wouldn't say this, but it's really true and kind of scary...

and why not?  It's Halloween !!!   Here are a few more sneak peeks, but there is much, much more.  Just in case I don't have enough - I'm adding more by having my special guest Diane of Molly Mo's bring her wonderful collection of furniture and unusual finds.

Please come visit us!  The show info is below.  We will have special music to get you in the mood, hot cider, a really frightening punch, caramel corn, nut brittles and sugar cookies from Elf Patty's magic kitchen.  There will even be some for sale.  Hope to see you ... it will be  SPOOKTACULAR !!!  M.  Oh .. bring a copy of this email or your postcard or a show flier 'cuz the first 50 people who do will receive a special treat!

Perfect Antiquing Day in Coburg!

Yesterday was the Coburg Antique Faire, in Coburg, Oregon.  Once again, it was a huge success!  The weather was absolutely perfect and there was a huge crowd.  A girl can't ask for much more than that -- except for a great guy to lend some muscle .. maybe lots of muscle.  I didn't get a picture, but my honey was so much help.  I couldn't have done the show without him.  I know he is dog-tired today and has a long week ahead of him.  His continued support is amazing.

Anyway, it was great to see so many returning customers and visit a bit.  I met new people and had a great time.  I took a few pictures at the "crack of dawn",  literally, so they seem a bit dim.  Regardless, you can get an idea of my space.  We came home with a much lighter load.  I only have two tables left -- ones that I didn't want to sell since I use them to display.  So, when you can see out the back window of the Durango going home, you know you had a good sale.

Thanks to Diane (Molly Mo's) for helping with the great entrance!

Thanks to all.  Your continued support is so appreciated.  I hope to see you again really soon at ...

Boootique Sneak Peek

My Vintage Halloween BOOOtique is less than a month away and I am trying not to panic.  So many things to be made and times a tickin'!  In order to make things, I need things.  Unique bits and pieces to keep my creations new and different.  So, off I go in search of odds and ends - weird and silly little stuff.  This is a sample of some of the things I found this weekend.  AND .. don't forget ... next Sunday ... the Coburg Antique Faire in Coburg, Oregon.  It is huge and full of treasures.  I will be in space 906, same as last year near my fellow junkers, Diane, Joy, Sue & Joe.
Please stop by and see us.

It is the first day of school here in our neck of the woods and that means
that my favorite season is almost upon us.  I love fall and
I   LOVE  to create Halloween decorations!
I have been creating new Halloween and Fall items since May!
All of these goodies will be at my
Vintage Halloween BOOOtique on October 2nd.

Here is a little sneak peak of what awaits you at the Boootique ...

fabulous Spellbinders!  Witchy shoes that even Carrie Bradshaw couldn't resist.

Some wonderful hats, certain to set you apart from all the other Black Hatters ...

and ... some of my little figures that I haven't made for a few years.

This and so much more will await you on October 2nd.  In the meantime ...
I will keep tempting you with little peeks.  Keep checking back for more!  M.

New Little Friend

I've found a new source of Halloween inspiration!  At first she was a little shy...

had to take some time to get acquainted ...

then, find a soft place to nap ...

get real comfortable ...

then wake up to meet you all.

Welcome Miss Bella!

No - I didn't bring home a kitty, but Elf Patty did!  Bella comes to "help" when Patty comes to work with me.  Bella is a constant source of amusement.  So much energy packed into such a small amount of cat!  I'm sure you will be seeing much more of her as Halloween gets closer!  Speaking of Halloween ...

don't forget to mark your calendars for  ....

and check other upcoming events to the left!  More soon!  M.
